We're thrilled to unveil the brand new JFHS website—a fresh chapter for our Society! Our dedicated team has been hard at work creating an inviting space where everyone can explore the fascinating records, documents, and journals from Jersey's rich history. Non-members now have a window into our archives, while members enjoy exclusive access to a dedicated area and a wealth of searchable documents & journals—both our own and a range of exchange publications.
Jersey is not the same as the United Kingdom when researching your ancestry. So it was decided to bring links and documents together so that our members both in Jersey and Overseas could have a wealth of links and documents at their disposal.
Non-members can also see where to research hopefully focusing on the JFHS’s records which are held at the Jersey Archive. It will give them a better understanding of points of research without having to trawling through the internet. This in turn will show them how beneficial it is in joining our Society as it will give hints as to the documents behind the ‘Members Area’.
